Little April Shower

Drip, drip, drop, little April shower - more like April deluge you mean!! The last few days really have been extremely damp haven't they? So much for my sunshine and lollipops post, that one is going to have to go on the back burner until the weather finally clears long enough for me to get writing!

It's on days like today when all you want to do is curl up on the sofa with a cup of hot chocolate, a stack of magazines and a movie to keep you occupied, whilst occasionally glancing out the window in smugness. Sadly I'm at uni, soaked through, with a 4 hour wait until my next lecture, with no hot chocolate and a stack of reading to do (and not the fun kind either). Oddly enough I'm not all that bothered though, which perhaps has something to do with my particular penchant for daydreaming about all the lovely things I can spend my time doing when the sun shines / when I get a spare moment to myself / when exams are finished and it's the summer holidays rather than actually doing any work.

Never mind, it's time to stop procrastinating - onwards and upwards! I would say it will all be worth it in the end, but the fact is the lecture I am waiting and reading for is 100% assessed via essay, so it's rather difficult to get together much of a work ethic where this one is concerned, especially given the fact that I may never need any of this information in my essay!

So I thought I'd leave you with this and hope it makes you at least smile today, if not do a little heel click or a twirl with your umbrella next time you're out in the rain. Come on, we've all been there...
